Week 63 - We Got our Own House Again!

Howdy!

Wow! Well I can’t remember if I told y’all a couple weeks ago, but for three weeks now--because of special circumstances--we have had to live with 2 other elders in the district, and wow it has been tough! 4 men getting dressed, showering, eating, and all ready in one hour! Pretty nuts. Well finally the stress of that is over, and they are able to go back to their house now. That is a good stress reliever for me! 

This week we had some pretty cool experiences with Carl.! We felt prompted to invite him to be baptized in December 17, and he said he doesn’t feel ready yet, and so we talked about it, and he told us he just wants to be certain that he will never turn back again, and you could hear the sincerity in his voice. He is working super hard to be better! It is so cool. He is a great man! He came to church with his niece again, almost an hour walk!! 

Zefer. is also doing super great! We had a couple lessons with him and Nan. this week, and they are both awesome. Zefer. is planning to be baptized on December 3. Nan. has been struggling a bit, and we felt prompted to fast for her, and it paid off so much! She had told us she wasn’t going to be able to go to church yesterday, but she and Zefer. showed up together! It was awesome. The power of earnest prayer and fasting works.

Week 62 - Conference with Elder Pieper

Howdy all! 

This week went flying by! We couldn't get too too much done cause of lots of things that got in the way, but on Thursday we had a pretty cool contacting activity in the Hermanas area, and we met a pretty cool lady that totally accepted the Book of Mormon! As we were talking she mentioned that it made so much sense that there are probably lots of scriptures that were written that we have never seen yet because they haven't been discovered! Super true!

On Saturday I had the opportunity to head down to San Lucas for a Leadership Training with President Gabaldon as well as Elder Pieper, the Area President of Mexico for the Church! It was super, super cool! On Sunday, we had a historic conference where all the members of the Church in Mexico got to basically be together in seeing the same Conference session! Super cool! And After, we had our Multizone Conference where we were able to receive more instruction from Elder Pieper, President, as well as their respective wives! 

I learned so much this weekend and really was able to strengthen my testimony that God is preparing people for us to teach, and even though lots of people may not accept this message, every time we look for new people, we are getting that much closer to finding someone that will accept! God knows His children and loves them!
